After long time new version of Canon 5D is here. Most imporant features of this body are: 21 mpix full frame CMOS sensor with cleaning system, 3,9 frames/s shooting, ISO 100-6400 range extensible to 50-25600, 98% coverage viewfinder with x0,71 magnification, 3” LCD screen with VGA resolution, live view mode and surprisingly video recording mode in HD 1920×1080 resolution with sound from external microphone at 30 frames/s. Video can last up to 12 minutes and have 4GB in size.

However, there are no changes in the autofocus system. We stil get 9 field AF with 6 invisible assist sensors, all points are cross-type for lenses of f5.6 or faster, center point additionally sensitive with lenses of F2.8 or faster.

Possibility of calibrating up to 20 lensen in the body was added.
